OKX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, is commemorating the 100th anniversary of The Republic of Turkey with the release of a non-fungible token (NFT) collection.
The NFT collection comprises 1,923 tokens, symbolizing the year of The Republic of Turkey’s establishment.
Each NFT within the collection features an image of Turkey’s parliament illuminated in red, displaying the National emblem of Turkey in white, accompanied by the text “The Republic of Turkey is 100 Years Old!” in Turkish.
These NFTs are available for free through the OKX website, and as of the latest update, 983 NFTs have already been claimed.
The NFTs are minted on the OKTC blockchain, an EVM and IBC-compatible L1 blockchain network constructed on the Cosmos platform, designed for optimal interoperability and performance.
OKX, recognized as one of the world’s leading crypto exchanges, has been a pioneer in embracing Web3 technologies.
In May, OKX announced its wallet’s support for trading Ordinals (Bitcoin NFTs) and BRC-20 tokens, establishing itself as the first multichain wallet to offer this functionality.
In April, OKX Metaverse partnered with the captain of Manchester City to create a metaverse football learning experience named “Make Your Play.” The following month, Alex Greenwood, a professional women’s football player from Manchester City FC, also collaborated with the OKX Collective metaverse for the launch of NFT football trainers.
