This trademark application follows one filed in March for its logo, in which Meta stated aspirations to provide crypto tokens, virtual currency exchanges, and other services.
Meta’s plans and announcements to embrace NFTs, cryptos, and the virtual world are now supported and partially concretized by these applications.
Last month, Meta also announced the opening of its first physical store, ‘The Meta Store’, where people can see and test their virtual reality hardware devices.
