Kristen Visbal, the American artist who sculpted the famed Fearless Girl bronze statue in New York City’s Wall Street district, today announced the launch of a non-fungible token (NFT) collection, marking the first virtual rendering of the sculpture, with the first drop on May 10.
Visbal has teamed up with digital art studio 9ifx.net to bring her storyboards to life, releasing 226 NFTs, containing a single copy of a mini movie, as well as the first private placement of a full-sized Fearless Girl statue.
The well-known sculpture, which was inaugurated on International Women’s Day in 2017, depicts a young girl with her hands on her hips in a resolute attitude, looking up to the sky and ready to take on the world.
Fearless Girl’s ultimate message is that of gender collaboration. Since the early 1960s, researchers have been studying the advantages of gender diversity in decision-making. When men and women work together, research shows that they can create better surroundings, make better judgments, and boost profitability.
Visbal hopes that Fearless Girl NFTs would inspire women to engage in this new and exciting financial arena, since males are twice as likely to own and invest in cryptocurrency, with 16% of men investing vs just 7% of women.

The collection includes three levels of limited-edition drops:
- Tier One includes a Fearless Girl full-size physical statue with an NFT short movie.
- Tier Two includes a 22-inch physical bronze miniature and an NFT video depicting a flaming Fearless Girl originating from a comet.
- Tier Three has seven NFT trading cards with different perspectives of Fearless Girl set against a dynamic background of vibrant nebulae.
