Mastercard’s Web3 music program, The Mastercard Artist Accelerator, has taken a significant stride forward as it unveiled five new singles produced by selected artists in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The five talented artists behind these NFT releases include the London-based R&B soul singer, Young Athena, the afrobeat record producer, LeriQ, the American-Jamaican songstress, Cocoa Sarai, the Vietnamese American pop artist, Emily Vu, and the Venezuelan pop singer, Manu Manzo.
To create these tracks, the artists harnessed the power of AI Music Studio, which is powered by WarpSound, an adaptive AI music generator company. This innovative tool empowers users to craft music and publish NFTs.
Adding an extra layer of uniqueness to the tracks, each artist has thoughtfully woven in the Mastercard sonic DNA. This distinct approach allows brands to establish a seamless connection between their audio expression and their core values and assets.
The NFTs tracks will be available for claiming on the OneOf Marketplace on July 27, 2023, during The Mastercard Artist Accelerator Showcase Presented by Billboard at 3 p.m. ET.
Mastercard first introduced the “Mastercard Artist Accelerator” in January with the primary aim of supporting musical artists in the digital realm. By embracing NFTs and the metaverse, the program aims to assist artists in building their digital brand identity.
