LG has announced various updates to LG Art Lab, its curated art NFT platform based on Hedera.
To begin, a collaboration with Blade Labs, an enterprise Web3 solution provider, will allow owners of LG Smart TVs to simply and securely buy NFTs on the marketplace using the Blade Wallet. The wallet, which is based on Hedera, has enterprise-grade security, is carbon negative, and has low and predictable gas fees.
Additionally, in order to improve its NFT marketplace and attract an expanding number of artists, LG has been working on royalty solutions to let artists profit automatically every time their digital creations are sold and resold.
LG launched the LG Art Lab NFT platform in September in an attempt to improve the NFT purchase experience and allow customers to turn their living spaces into art galleries.
The marketplace is powered by the Hedera network, which is one of the most popular and sustainable public ledgers in the decentralized economy today.
So far, LG has taken giant steps within the Web3 space. Other initiatives include a collaboration with Fr0ntierX, a Web3 service provider, to bring interactive NFT integrations on LG webOS Smart Signage.
LG will also be present at CES 2023, where it will showcase its innovative products, such as its smart shoe shelves adorned with NFT shoes.
