Comedian and actor Kevin Hart has announced his first initiative in the NFT and metaverse space.
The project will kick off with next month’s premiere of Roku original “Confessions From the Hart,” a 30-minute animated anthology based on his Instagram IGTV series of the same name.
“Confessions From the Hart” launches exclusively on the Roku Channel on Wednesday, July 6 – the day Hart turns 43 – and narrates moments from Hart’s life.
A limited number of NFTs released by Hartbeat will also allow fans to view bonus content for “Confessions From the Hart” in the Kevin Hart Nation Metaverse Screening Room, created in partnership with Web3 platform Moonwalk and virtual entertainment company Virtua.
Kevin Hart fans and collectors can buy one of 10,000 exclusive “Confessions From the Hart” NFTs for $65 beginning on Thursday, July 7 at web3.kevinhartnation.com.
NFTs serve as a means of validating ownership of digital content; in this case, there will only be one official owner of each Hart NFT.
“Confessions From the Hart” NFT buyers will not only gain access to the bonus content but also get access to additional content and tickets to Hart’s upcoming comedy tour.
