This year, for the first time, Yaizu, a city located in central Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, will take part in the Virtual Market 2022 Summer with a virtual tuna filleting show.
Yaizu city is especially known for Minami Tuna. Taking advantage of the occasion, they are presenting the first “virtual tuna filleting show” in the world utilizing a large 3D model to educate and entertain the visitors about Yaizu’s fishing heritage.
Additionally, as Furusato Nozei presents, there will be 3D models of several of their proud local and well-known products, including negi toro, seared skipjack, canned tuna, and much more. The digital poster on the website, which is connected to their official donation page, also allows users to make direct donations.
