Instagram has announced that its NFT feature is now available in other 100 countries throughout Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Users will now simply need to connect their digital wallet to Instagram to publish an NFT.
As of now, Instagram supports connections to third-party wallets such as Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and Dapper Wallet, with more to come. Ethereum, Polygon, and Flow are among the supported blockchains.
There are no costs for publishing or sharing a digital collectible on Instagram.

We’re also launching integrations with @CoinbaseWallet @hellodapper and support for @flow_blockchain.
It has only been seven months since Meta firstly disclosed its plans to incorporate NFTs on Facebook and Instagram. As a result, its commitment to fully adopting NFT technology is strong, and it is reflected in all the actions it is taking.
Aside from NFTs, Meta has stated its ambition to embrace the virtual and launch a fashion Avatars Store on Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger, enabling people to buy digital apparel to outfit their avatar in accordance with their preferred styles and tastes.
In terms of what comes next, Meta will keep investing in this new field for the company. Digital collectibles will soon be available also on Facebook, and users will be able to share and see them as AR stickers on Instagram Stories.
