Meta is on its way to transforming the real world into a fully virtual and immersive new one.
According to the most recent news released by Mark Zuckerberg on Instagram, Meta will soon open an Avatars Store on Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger. As a result, people will be able to buy digital apparel to dress their avatars based on their favorite styles and tastes.
Meta is collaborating with major fashion designers Balenciaga, Prada, and Thom Browne to launch this initiative.
“Digital goods will be an important way to express yourself in the metaverse and a big driver of the creative economy,” Zuckerberg noted in his Instagram post.
In addition, Meta will soon cooperate with other fashion brands to broaden and expand this endeavor, as well as bring it to VR.
