Hyundai Motor Company today announced a collaboration with the “Meta Kongz” NFT brand to enter the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
By releasing NFTs illustrating its mobility solutions, the Hyundai NFT community will show and let its consumers enjoy the Hyundai brand experience in the metaverse.
The company will continually monitor the asset value of its NFTs by offering dedicated channels for the Hyundai NFT community. The web platforms will provide a continuous communication channel between the company and community members, as well as real-time information on the asset value of its NFTs.
The company today published a short film showcasing the Hyundai NFT universe idea ‘Metamobility Universe,’ which represents the ‘Metamobility’ concept announced at CES 2022.
The ‘Meta Kongz’ gorilla figure drives a vintage PONY, and a modernly updated legacy series PONY from Earth to the Moon in the film, demonstrating how mobility solutions can transcend time and space. At the end of the film, a shooting star-shaped NFT is revealed, which will be launched in May.
On April 20, Hyundai Motor will also distribute 30 limited edition ‘Hyundai x Meta Kongz’ NFTs to celebrate the film’s release. Hyundai NFT projects will be carried out throughout the year in order to continue extending the Hyundai NFT Universe. The proceeds from the sale of Hyundai NFTs will go to the project’s management and community members.
