American rapper Gunna, best known for his collaborations with Lil Baby and Young Thug, became the latest celebrity to dabble in the world of NFTs, working with MoonPay to purchase a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT worth over $300,000 this week.
This week, the rapper successfully purchased his Bored Ape, which he named Butta. Gunna went through with the purchase without a hitch, and to commemorate the occasion, he got a tattoo of the ape on his leg.
In the video posted on Wunna’s Instagram page, his ape wears aquamarine glasses and blows into a kazoo.
Gunna is another musician who’s entered the NFT sphere, following stars like Katy Perry, Pitbull, Snoop Dogg, and many more.
As of now, NFTs are the hit of the moment, and they’re likely to continue growing in the coming year.
