Gary Vaynerchuk, widely known as Gary Vee, has broadened the scope of his non-fungible token (NFT) project, VeeFriends, by venturing into the fashion domain with the debut of its first-ever Cap Collection.
The collection comprises six caps, each boasting a different color and featuring an attribute that resonates with buyers’ personal connections or aspirations — Ambitious, Fearless, Unwavering, Gifted, Outgoing, and Dedicated.
In addition to the attribute text, each cap showcases a character from the VeeFriends NFT series.
Priced at $42 apiece, the caps are currently in presale exclusively for VeeFriends NFT holders, with public availability slated for May 16, 2024.
This isn’t the project’s first venture into fashion; its official shop already offers apparel featuring the logo and characters from the NFT collection.
VeeFriends has also been actively building partnerships within the industry to launch branded fashion items. For instance, in August of last year, the project collaborated with Reebok to launch an exclusive sneaker line for VeeFriends NFT holders, drawing inspiration from the Aspiring Alpaca NFT character.
The VeeFriends NFT collection debuted its initial series in May 2021, comprising 10,255 NFTs featuring 268 unique characters hand-drawn by Gary Vaynerchuk. Series 2 followed, breathing life into Gary’s original sketches. This series presents 55,555 NFTs, featuring 236 characters from Series 1 alongside 15 newly minted characters.
Gary Vaynerchuk has been a staunch advocate for NFT technology, leading him to introduce VeeCon, a conference where admission is facilitated through NFT tickets. VeeCon acts as a hub for influential figures, speakers, and innovators who are driving the evolution of Web3.
