World-famous rapper Eminem has expanded his NFT collection by purchasing Bored Ape Yacht Club #9055 for 123.45 Ethereum or $452K at the time of settlement.
Earlier this week, the star changed his profile picture on Instagram, replacing the previous image with art from Bored Ape Yacht Club.
However, this is not the only NFT owned by the world’s most famous rapper. Eminem owns a collection of 23 NFTs through his account, Shady_Holdings on Opensea. Among them are Sphereman #42 Ring, JurassicPunk #146, BLU Blox 3710, and many others.
In what appears to be a trend, the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) is enveloping celebrities who are embracing this new world. Recently, Rapper Gunna bought a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT for 300K and tattooed it on his leg.
