Betty Boop, the animated cartoon character created by Max Fleischer, is about to enter Web3.
In an effort to bring together Betty Boop’s worldwide fan community, Fleischer Studios, Inc., the owner of the classic character, Global Icons, LLC, and XLABEL the Web3 brand consultancy have teamed up to develop the first ‘Boop & Frens’ NFT collection.
The collection pays tribute to the character who has long been a global symbol of independence, kindness, style, and universal acceptance.
There will be 8,888 one-of-a-kind NFTs included in this collection, which will feature Betty Boop dressed in digital fashion clothes, as seen in her classic cartoons, and designed by MYAMI Studio, known for designing virtual high fashion.
The official NFT collection will be released on August 09, 2022, known as the official Betty Boop Day and the anniversary of Betty’s 1930 big screen debut, at nft.bettyboop.com.
A ‘Boop & Frens’ NFT will create multi-layered utility for holders, including virtual wearables and unique metaverse experiences.
