Arsenal FC has agreed to join the NFT space alongside Staynex, a major NFT vacation marketplace, and Enjinstarter, a platform for the development of blockchain-based games.
The initiative entails the release of 400 NFTs, which will grant holders access to Arsenal match tickets, hotel stays, in-person events, airdrops, vacations, and other perks.
Each NFT features a red-colored pass in the shape of the Staynex logo and is branded with the Arsenal FC badge, which was developed by Nike, and incorporates a stylized version of the traditional cannon with the club’s name.
NFTs will be minted on the Binance Smart Chain, a blockchain network developed by the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, and will be separated into two tiers of rarity: 340 Gooners and 60 Legendary.
Each NFT costs $400 and will go on sale on April 7, 2023, with a raffle on April 5, 2023, for one lucky winner to win a free pass.
This is not the first time Arsenal FC has joined Web3; last year, the club teamed with Unagi to join Unagi’s next-generation fantasy football game, Ultimate Champions, where users can earn in-game currency and buy digital player card NFTs.
