Animoca Brands has announced a collaboration with blue-chip NFT project Cool Cats and OneFootball Labs to launch a non-fungible token (NFT) collection to bring football enthusiasts together to celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2022.
The “Cool Cats FC” NFT collection comprises 4,000 NFTs minted on the Ethereum network.
Holders of NFTs will be able to join a community of football fans and win valuable rewards such as limited-edition and signed merchandise, player meet-and-greets, VIP events, and more.
Each NFT does, in fact, represent one of the 32 playing countries in the tournament. When a team advances to the Round of 16, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, Final, and ultimately Championship, the Cool Cats FC NFTs linked with that team will evolve to reflect the team’s advancement. When a team advances, holders of that team’s NFTs will be eligible for the rewards mentioned above.
Allowlist minting of the Cool Cats FC collection begins at 5:00 p.m. (EST) on November 17, 2022, and public minting begins at 10:00 a.m. (EST) on November 19, 2022. The minting will take place at ccfc.coolcatsnft.com.
