NFT platform Sweet has collaborated with retail giant Build-A-Bear to auction five one-of-a-kind digital collectible NFTs.
Each of the five NFTs, which will be minted on the Polygon blockchain, is one-of-a-kind and features Silver Gala-themed bears. The auction winner will also receive a physical bear inspired by the digital bear.
Other benefits for NFT holders include a brick in the purchaser’s honor in the Build-A-Bear foundation plaza, a private celebration, and an online, virtual first glimpse at parts of Build-A-spring Bear’s fashion collection.
The auction will begin on November 15 at 12:00 PM ET and end on November 17 at 7:00 PM ET on a dedicated page on Sweet.io. 10% of the NFT sale will be donated to the Build-A-Bear Foundation, a charitable organization that funds organizations that promote children’s health and well-being, literacy, animal welfare, and disaster relief.
This effort is part of Build-A-Bear’s 25th anniversary celebration, which began in September with the release of a limited edition Build-A-Bear NFT decorated with Swarovski crystals.
