STEPN, a move-to-earn Web3 running app, recently announced a partnership with ASICS to release a limited-edition STEPN-ASICS Sneaker NFT mystery box collection.
The Binance NFT Marketplace was the official launch site for the NFT sneakers, which were hosted and minted on the BNB Chain.
There are four Sneaker types: Walker, Jogger, Runner or Trainer. Each one is tailored to certain exercise intensity and fitness levels. In the STEPN mobile app, users who have these NFT Sneakers can go around and collect tokens and NFT rewards.
Burning tokens will level up the STEPN x ASICS NFT Sneakers. Users may improve the performance of the sneakers by adding attribute points and NFT Gems.
Users can mint one NFT Shoebox or, on rare occasions, two Shoeboxes for the price of one by combining two NFT sneakers and burning some tokens. The user will receive one random sneaker NFT when they open the shoebox.
Users must first download the STEPN app and register, then choose BNBChain and establish a new BNBChain Wallet, then transfer their STEPN x ASICS limited edition Sneaker to the STEPN (BNBChain) wallet.
The project’s goal is to motivate millions of people to adopt a healthy lifestyle, link them to the Internet, and prevent climate change.
