Michah Dowbak, better known by his artistic pseudonym, Mad Dog Jones, and renowned for his cyberpunk-infused creations, has recently unveiled a new series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Titled “Fallen Gravity” and developed in collaboration with Web3 agency INVNT GROUP, the collection draws inspiration from space and the “mysteries of the cosmos.”
Central to the collection are two animated artworks: “Infinite Depth” and “Unknowable Dimensions,” with editions numbering 1,000 and 500, respectively, priced at $349 and $749 each.
“Fallen Gravity” is a component of a broader collection project, unfolding in multiple phases. Phase 1 started on April 3 with the release of “Inverted Dark Matter,” while Phase 1.1 will introduce “Distant Galaxies” on April 8. The latest phases will feature “Infinite Depth” and “Unknowable Dimensions.”
In the upcoming phase, “Unknowable Dimensions,” 500 NFT holders will have the chance to mint a unique NFT accompanied by its distinct “Star Song,” curated by Artemis Music Entertainment. These compositions are crafted using data sonification algorithms that translate astronomical imagery into audible music. Each NFT will also feature a snapshot of the sky correlated to a specific time, location, and date of the ISS’s orbital position.
Furthermore, collectors can submit a personalized 50-character message, which, along with the NFT, will be transmitted through the Artemis Space Network by spaceflight engineers at Mission Control. Subsequently, collectors will receive a bespoke “Flight Certificate,” confirming that their asset and personalized message have journeyed into space and successfully orbited the planet.
The “Fallen Gravity” collection will be accessible for purchase on the Nifty Gateway marketplace starting April 9. (save the drop)
Mad Dog Jones has garnered significant attention in the NFT realm, evidenced by his substantial sales, including those at esteemed auction houses like Christie’s. Similarly, INVNT GROUP has forged alliances with industry leaders, such as its collaboration with Lamborghini, which resulted in the auction of the latest Aventador Ultimae alongside an exclusive 1:1 NFT.
