One of the world’s top soccer clubs, Liverpool Football Club, takes the plunge into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with a collection of art based on its players and managers.
On the 30th of March, Liverpool and Sotheby’s are auctioning 24 NFTs featuring players as cartoon superheroes, each with unique details such as a signature gesture or a reference to their personality.
Liverpool will also sell limited edition NFTs created by a generative art algorithm that combines images of the team’s players and managers with various illustrated traits.
