Digital asset platform Bakkt Holdings (NYSE: BKKT) will soon allow its customers to buy, sell, and hold Ether, the cryptocurrency of the Ethereum network, in addition to Bitcoin.
As a result, users will have access to two cryptocurrencies that represent more than half of the market value of all cryptocurrencies.
Bakkt said institutional clients can also use Bakkt Warehouse to hold Ether.
Bakkt facilitates the flow of digital commerce by providing users with greater access to the use of their digital assets, including Ethereum, in line with the company’s mission of connecting the digital economy.
