Fender Guitars, the renowned American manufacturer of instruments and amplifiers, has filed a trademark application for the shapes of electric guitar heads expressing its intention to enter the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
According to the trademark application, the company aims to provide:
- Virtual goods, namely digital artwork, photographs, videos, and audio recordings featuring music and musical instruments;
- NFTs;
- Online non-downloadable information about and access to the foregoing virtual goods related to NFTs and other crypto-collectibles.
The news was shared earlier today via Twitter by trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis.
