Yuga Labs, the company behind popular NFT collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club, has revealed more details about Dookey Dash, a skill-based mint game.
This game—which requires players to run as far as possible as difficulties progress—requires a ticket: a Sewer Pass NFT, which can only be claimed by BAYC and MAYC members. Although others cannot claim it, they can still get/buy one from a Sewer Pass holder.
Players with a Sewer Pass will be able to play the game from January 18, 2023, to February 8, 2023. As soon as their session game ends, their score will be registered and linked to the wallet they used to take part in the game.
The score—based on the duration of the run, the fragments collected, and the obstacles destroyed—will fall into one of four tiers, based on the bonus percentage, and frozen on February 8, 2023. Following February 15, 2023, those with scores greater than 0 will see their Sewer Pass transform into something new.
Dookey Dash is an opportunity for Yuga Labs to engage its community in something new while discreetly revealing what is to come.
After all, 2023 has confirmed Yuga Labs’ BAYC, MAYC, and BAKC NFT collections’ popularity; according to CoinMarketCap statistics, they remain in the top ten in terms of volume and market cap.
