Universal Music Group has announced and sold out the whole KINGSHIP NFT collection, which is tied to the virtual band KINGSHIP, which it formed in November and signed to 10:22PM.
The minting took place on July 14 and sold out within two hours after release on July 15.

The KINGSHIP band consists of four NFTs: one mutant ape and three bored apes (the newest member, Bored Ape #5537, was purchased in March) and exists only in the digital realm, with ambitions to compose new songs and play in the metaverse.
The quickly sold-out NFT collection includes 5,000 access-enabled Key Cards NFTs, with four distinct Key Cards reflecting each band member’s unique tower.
Holders of the Key Cards have access to the group’s virtual world and unlock products, experiences, and a token-gated community. The cards also have different rarity levels. The cards also possess additional traits of varying rarities. By collecting all four members’ cards, collectors gain entry to a floating villa that comes with high-value real-world benefits and access.
The Key Card artwork will be revealed today, July 19, at 11:30 a.m. ET.
