The cosmetic sector has been quite active in terms of Web3 applications and efforts. L’Oréal recently teamed with Meta to create a startup accelerator program to foster breakthrough ideas in the metaverse.
Clinique launched its first makeup NFT campaign in June to promote a more inclusive metaverse. A month earlier, NYX Professional Makeup debuted its Pride 2022 campaign, “Paint Your Own Story,” and entered the metaverse with a first-of-its-kind virtual meta-pride parade.
