TheSoul Publishing, an award-winning digital studio, has revealed plans for a week-long metaverse concert experience featuring its virtual pop star, Polar.
Titled “Happier Than Ever,” the concert is currently underway on the Roblox platform, kicking off on December 12. The event unfolds within Club Box, an immersive amusement park on Roblox crafted by AAA game developer Kokku.
Throughout the week, Polar will interact with fans and unveil new hits like “Sold Love,” “Shivers,” and “Happier Than Ever.”
In addition to the concert, attendees can take part in diverse activities, including collecting coins and exclusive digital items, exploring photo booths and music players, and partaking in mini-games like obstacle races.
Since her debut in 2021, Polar has rapidly gained popularity, evidenced by a substantial following, boasting 2 million TikTok followers, over 2.4 million YouTube subscribers, and a staggering 1.36 billion views.
The music industry is undergoing a transformation with the integration of Web3 technologies and artificial intelligence (AI). These innovations are revolutionizing global audience reach, intensifying immersion and engagement, and opening new revenue streams.
An analogous success story akin to Polar’s is Kingship, a virtual music band comprised of four NFTs, featuring one mutant ape and three bored apes, and created by Universal Music Group’s Web3 label, 10:22 PM. The virtual band has recently ventured into the metaverse and, in February, collaborated with Spotify to launch its inaugural token-enabled playlist.
