Will Wright, the inventor of The Sims and renowned American video game designer, has joined the metaverse and non-fungible token (NFT) wave.
In 2022, the developer of one of the best-selling video game series of all time would be making headlines with a project called VOXverse.
It’s a video game in which randomly generated voxel-based creatures interact, create, and mine. The characters are drawn from an existing collection of NFTs sold by Gala Games, a next-generation gaming platform that has invested $25 million to develop VOXVerse.
Users will be able to purchase and sell land plots using cryptocurrency within the VOXverse, bringing the real estate market on board.
Recently, DreamWorks Animation collaborated with Gala Games to launch the Trolls VOX NFTs, which are inspired by Trolls and promise to be very beneficial in the future, particularly within the VOXverse.
What it will be and how it will evolve is currently unknown. What is certain is that the market is progressing and developing new ideas and Web3-related initiatives as time goes on, making it a current and optimistic future “thing.”
