This year’s Saudi National Day, which commemorates the renaming of the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by royal order of King Abdul Aziz Al Saud in 1932, will have a modern touch.
As it turns out, the Bold Group is bringing celebrations to the metaverse of Decentraland.
Via the virtual experience, visitors from all over the world will be able to explore the Kingdom, its landmarks, food, music, art, and other aspects of Saudi culture. Saudi culture will be displayed on multiple levels in an open-air museum, each displaying various representations of the country’s beauty.
Furthermore, the experience will include tailor-made Saudi national attire inspired by different regions of the country. A variety of these iconic pieces will be offered as wearable NFTs at the event.
During the world’s first Saudi National Day metaverse celebration, the Bold Group will also provide the POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol) as a limited edition collectible NFT.
The event will take place from September 22 to September 24.
