After partnering with BlockBar, the world’s first NFT marketplace for wine and spirits, for the launch of its first NFT collection comprised of physical and NFT bottles, Patrón is now expanding its presence into the metaverse.
The campaign consists of introducing “Summer Made Sensational: A Patrón Pop-Up Series,” an experience designed to provide tequila aficionados with a vivid retreat in Decentraland via a unique cocktail-themed journey.
When entering the Patrón experience, metaverse lovers will be greeted by a Patrón host in the first cocktail-inspired area. At each of the three sites – Jazz Club, Flamingos, and Metaverse Festival – a Patrón bartender will detail each trip that revolves around sourcing different ingredients to produce a cocktail. After successfully completing each quest, participants will portal to the next bar to embark on a whole new drink task.
U.S. users can claim a limited-edition NFT wearable and wear it to the event. Claiming a wearable will make them eligible to receive a Patrón Gold Jacket to complete their look when they complete all three pop-up quests in the same weekend.
Residents of the United States who successfully complete all three tasks will also be eligible to win the grand prize, which includes a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Punta Mita, Mexico, as well as a rare mythological wearable inside the metaverse.
