Readict, an online reading app developed by a studio invested by CooTek, has released its first NFT line and an NFT Mall.
Through these new initiatives, Readict aims to connect the online reading community with the metaverse, by allowing the readers to better interact with the authors while enjoying a more immersive reading experience.
Readers can access the novel-themed NFT via the in-app purchase gateway, or they can visit the NFT Mall to see and purchase more NFTs related to their favorite novels.
The first NFT is inspired by the heroine of one of Readict’s biggest bestsellers, The Billionaire’s Baby.
These NFTs will improve author earnings while providing readers with a more engaging experience. NFT holders will be able to use certain avatars and objects in the games, as well as exchange NFTs with others.
CooTek will continue to investigate new metaverse scenarios with Readict in the future. As the creator of the unique content ecosystem, the Company will include additional crypto and metaverse elements into online literature, such as Read-to-Earn and Write-to-Earn, while supporting a new model of content production supported by both creators and consumers.
