Masters of the Universe (MOTU), a Mattel-created sword and planet-themed media franchise, is going to join the non-fungible token (NFT) space.
Mattel teamed with Cryptoys, an NFT-native toy platform, to offer an NFT collection featuring MOTU’s principal characters, including Evil-Lyn, Battle Cat/Cringer, Tri-Klops, Prince Adam, and He-Man.
The limited-edition NFTs will be available in a wide range of rarities, spanning from “Common” to “Ultra Grail.”
NFTs are presented as Cryptoys Cubes, which collectors may keep in mint condition or unbox to see the NFT come to life. The NFT then comes to life, and holders may use it on The Block to run, turn, and jump.
Cryptoys is also developing a platform that integrates toys, games, and entertainment. This implies that NFTs may have more uses in the future.
The collection will be released on November 9, with each NFT costing $39.99.
