Reid Hoffman, former LinkedIn co-founder and executive chairman, has announced his foray into the realm of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
He is converting a variety of small picture collections generated by DALL-E—artificial intelligence software that creates digital images from natural language descriptions—into Solana NFTs.
Inspired by the potential of DALL•E and NFTs — and the possibilities that they unleash together — my team and I have created a number of small image collections that we'll be tokenizing as NFTs.

The first collection debuts on Magic Eden today.
Here's why I'm experimenting:
The collection, called “Untranslatable Words,” will make its debut on Magic Eden, the largest Solana NFT marketplace.
The first of 11 NFTs in the collection is now up for auction on the Solana marketplace, and it will conclude in 6 hours today, July 22. The tokenized picture, dubbed “Mangata,” has a current offer of 19.50 SOL.
The remaining NFTs will be made available through a series of daily auctions on Magic Eden.
All proceeds from the NFT sale will go to a nonprofit or cause associated with the collection, as well as the creative team.
