South Korean multinational conglomerate company LG has submitted a trademark application for “LG ART LAB” in order to further strengthen its presence in the field of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and cryptocurrencies.
According to the trademark application submitted to the USPTO on July 14, the company aims to provide:
- Software for exchanging electronic money;
- Software for NFT and crypto transactions management;
- E-wallet payment services;
- Electronic payment processing;
- Software for virtual currency;
- Digital token brokerage;
- TV software for issuing and trading NFTs.

This trademark registration is not LG’s first foray into the new realm of NFT, crypto, and the metaverse.
