Former US President Donald Trump saw his crypto asset holdings soar, hitting a remarkable $10 million mark. This leap was largely fueled by his most significant holding, the MAGA memecoin, TRUMP, which reached a record-breaking $13.24 on May 27.
Valuation of TRUMP Tokens Held by Donald Trump
Arkham, a blockchain intelligence agency, reports that Trump’s portfolio includes 579,290 TRUMP tokens, now valued at $6.79 million. The value of the TRUMP token surged by 53% in just one week following the launch of a cryptocurrency donation platform as part of the Trump 2024 campaign.
Despite this, TRUMP token’s price has seen an 8.8% dip from its peak, trading at $12.04 at present. This downturn in the crypto market on May 28 has nudged Trump’s total crypto holdings down to $9.5 million.
The MAGA memecoin, introduced in August 2022, aims to support American veterans and safeguard children. Despite carrying Trump’s name, it lacks his official endorsement. According to the initiative’s website, donations have reached 234.75 ETH for veterans and 204.5 ETH for combating child trafficking since MAGA’s inception.
Trump’s Cryptocurrency Holdings
Trump’s cryptocurrency collection also boasts 464.2 ETH, equivalent to about $1.79 million. His portfolio is further diversified with a million MVP tokens, another Memecoin linked to Trump’s campaign, currently worth close to $473,000.
