Coca-Cola is expanding its presence in the world of NFTs. The new NFT initiative, dubbed “Coca-Cola Pride Collection” this time is dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community.
The Coca-Cola Pride collection is a set of 136 digital collectibles created in honor of the LGBTQIA+ community and in partnership with multi-award-winning designer and LGBTQIA+ rights advocate Rich Mnisi.
The Coca-Cola Pride NFT collection designed by Rich aims to shine color-filled light on the community’s members and spread a message of love.
As stated on the official website, the collection wishes to emphasize that “energy cannot be destroyed. It can only be transferred, changed in form, locked up, or released. Love is similar. It can become any number of things — passion, darkness, trust, heartbreak — but it is always there.”
Coca-Cola will donate all proceeds from the sale and resale of the Coca-Cola Pride collection to charities serving the LGBTQIA+ community. In the first year, the proceeds will go to OUT, a charity selected by Rich Mnisi.
