The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, a music and arts festival that takes place every spring at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, is now selling lifetime passes for the first time ever. The passes will be offered in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
As part of this effort, Coachella has joined forces with FTX US, a crypto exchange, to establish an eco-friendly marketplace on Solana.
The main Coachella NFT collection, called “Coachella Keys Collection”, consists of 10 one-of-a-kind keys that will grant lifetime access to Coachella and unique festival experiences in 2022. Specifically, NFT holders will get passes to one festival weekend every April as well as virtual experiences produced by Coachella in the future.

There will also be two other collections that Coachella will launch in conjunction with the NFT passes.
First up is the Desert Reflections Collection, which commemorates Coachella’s 20-year history through 1,000 NFTs priced at $180 each, which holders can use to redeem for a physical festival photo book.
A final collection, the “Sights and Sounds” NFT collection, features 10,000 collectibles priced at $60 and features iconic festival photos as well as never before heard soundscapes from the Polo Fields.
Coachella Collectibles will be available beginning on 4th February 2022 at 10 am PT.
A portion of the proceeds from each item will be donated to Give Directly, Lideres Campesinas, and Find Food Bank, and royalties will go to the participating creators.
