Changi Airport Group, the manager of Singapore Changi Airport, and Accenture have announced a collaboration for a new metaverse effort.
The “ChangiVerse” experience, which will be hosted on Roblox, is a virtual space that embeds a virtual replica of the physical airport.
Inside it, visitors can explore the airport and its attractions, such as the spectacular indoor waterfall and the iconic Changi control tower.
The experience also features minigames like Changi Kart and Check-in Champ, in which users can collect unique collectibles to customize their digital avatar.
The metaverse experience would bring a new layer to Changi Airport’s recognized position as the World’s Best Airport by providing unique and personalized services to customers, staff, and aviation fans.
The aviation industry is beginning to adopt Web3 as a means of providing enhanced experiences or using new technology to enhance services.
